There is a need to updated oneself with the latest techniques, & technologies. There is a need to know the new avenues for distribution and exhibition available in this ever changing world.

The Open Forum not only provides answers but is also an opportunity to ask questions, interact with the experts… people who have gone through the processes themselves and are in a position to guide or people who are in the business.

The IDPA has been successfully conducting Open Forums at the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) since 1992 and now even at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI Goa) since 2012.

The topics have ranged from Copyright of a Multi-Country funded film, Crowdfunding, OTT platforms, A Single-Window clearance for procuring permissions, Digital distribution & New Opportunities for Exhibition etc…
